Description: Brooch with magnet attachment (no pin), in a turtle design featuring real Hawaiian miniature wild flowers.  These beautiful and so tiny flowers are all real and shown here at actual size and natural colors. They have been pressed, dehydrated and overlaid with protective jeweler’s resin. The setting is silver plated and attached with incredibly strong “rare earth” magnets made of high grade Neodymium.

Designer’s comments:

“Visually, an eye-catching brooch with striking styling and natural colors suited to a wide range of  fashion combinations especially in its distinctive turtle design and such delicate and graceful miniature wild Hawaiian flowers.  Ideal as a gift, all the more so in a “set” complemented by matching pendant (FPT). As soon as viewers realise there are real preserved flowers inside each, they take on a whole new meaning and greater value.”

“Practically, these brooches are light weight with resins protective against wear and the ravages of ultra violet light on the plant material. A key feature of this design is that it makes no holes in expensive material and is ideal for those of us with fingers no longer nimble or for whom it is a problem to focus on tiny safety catches, for there are none!  While very suitable for light weight fabrics in the Hawaiian climate they are also designed to hold firmly to heavy clothing in winter both under and over a coat in those locations our visitors hail from in cold climates.
